Saturday 17th August 2013

  • Ruth declared and prayed Psalm 118 over meeting, people there and region. We are in blood covenant with Jesus and under grace.
  • Worship leader shared a picture straight away, of a potted plant that was being transferred to the ground; this is called “planting-out” by gardeners. Jesus said “God is the gardener”. There is a time, when God sees fit, to take us out of the greenhouse to make us “hardier”. Either our whole lives or aspects of it. The plants are transferred into bigger pots, to allow the roots to grow even more. Otherwise, the roots of “Pot bound” plants can strangle themselves. The gardener takes the old pot off the rootball and tweezes out the roots... some old soil will fall off the roots. It is then planted into a bigger place. This is like revelation of God’s word and an expansion of responsibilities before Him, that come with any revelation/understanding. It is uncomfortable, but necessary if we are to grow. We often like the rhetoric of "More Lord" - but grumble about the process! Go with it!!! Ultimately, when a plant become “hardy” to the environment, it is then placed in the best “aspect” the type of plant thrives in... acid/chalk soil; sun/shade; dry/wet soil etc... the position it is designed for. We are very much like this and need to be introduced by The Lord step by step, until we are "hardy" enough  (NOT hard-hearted!!! but spiritually robust) to be placed in the realms of life He designed us for - where we flourish best! We were repotted today, it seems. We are being changed.
  • During worship the songs included ‘At the cross’, ‘It's your blood’, ‘I will follow’ and ‘Beyond these shores’ a few members sang prophetically about ‘men and women of freedom’.
  • It was noted during worship that prophetic songs included the statements, “The Lord he stands”, “He flows, get out of the way” and “praise him as He moves through you to touch those He is drawing to Himself”; “The river flows out of you and me, living waters, break open the dams we put across what He wants to do
  • The salvation of each of us, was His Promised Land. To pull down all dark places of your thinking and get rid of the squatters - liberation of heart and mind. Yeshua (Jesus) defeated Satan, in a way like Joshua defeated the “kings” of Canaan. So take the land!. Jesus died once for all, so you could live and come into His promises; promises which are yes and amen in Jesus Christ - So say yes. Take the land of your heart and mind and appropriate the once for all victory at the cross to the issue The Holy Spirit is raising in your life.
  • Let your light shine remove veil. Demons know Jesus’ name and they shudder! Draw near to God and He will draw near to you, resist devil and he will flee from you.
  • Others sang: “The Lord is with you, He took captivity captive so you could be free he made a show to all demons he made a public show of them and put a ring through their nose and led them captive. You are free men and women, they’re in chains, not you!. He led ‘captivity’ captive. You are a son, God’s glory in you, is being revealed - sons of god. The glory of the lord revealed, you are being revealed sons and daughters
  • Another had a picture of Jesus taking demon spirits into captivity - a trail of demon spirits in chains, which inspired her declaration song about Jesus releasing us into freedom - what Jesus has done for us.
  • We prayed for some who felt oppression during this last week.
  • One had a dream about releasing people from captivity in which she saw herself physically driving people in her car to the forerunners base, to a couple of the leaders because it was a safe house. Felt there was a financial situation coming, nationally, that was contrived! Need to intercede regarding this, in the next few weeks!
  • A leader explained that leaders are usually hit first by any demonic attacks, but they have an anointing to stand in that position; and its foolish Christians who resist being accountable to God given leaders, not letting them pray for them. Also it’s dangerous to presume to stand and act like a leader when God hasn’t (yet) chosen you. You would be assuming the spiritual pressure and arena, without God’s permission/anointing for it. Many Christians open themselves and others to danger. As a picture to model this, the leadership sat in the front row seats - not in pride - in fact, it took obedience to God, to do this.
  • A visitor saw lots of white hearts and felt moved to pray for hearts to be opened and captives set free.
  • A member, saw the cross of Calvary and felt he heard Jesus say that, that was only a moment and he is now looking at him from behind that cross. He is risen!
  • A visitor suggested we ask God for a specific fruit of the spirit, whatever fruit you want God to give you; we were to choose that night. i.e. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Self Control.
  • One member testified, that in the week, he had experienced two separate people speaking negative/unkind words about others; and he wanted to rebuke those words and reverse the curse and pray on behalf of anybody else who may have had negative words spoken over them recently.
  • Another talked again about Joshua and his leading Israel into the Promised Land; Jesus has defeated the enemy, so appropriate the cross, evict the enemy, take that victory, serve notice on the issues. The outworking of that is up to God but we think of Jordan as a great river to be baptised in, but it is filthy as a symbolism of death into life. It flows from a place in the North of Israel called “The Gates of Hell” in Caesarea Philippi (modern day, Banias). Joshua also cross through the Jordan River. We really do die to self and are raised into Jesus Christ and His resurrection.
  • Go with God’s strategies for working out issues.
  • A member recalled experiencing going “thru the veil”, in her recent trip to Ian Clayton’s conference in Wales. Using her hands to represent the veil and how to speak God’s Hebrew name and be in the centre of his name, north, south, east and west. It was a helpful illustration for understanding the biblical phrase ‘to be IN Christ”
  • A visitor recounted a vision where he saw, within a rainbow, two people - one red with a sword and one transparent. He felt it was Jerusalem. He saw mountains, an altar smoke, worship up. The “dome of the rock was NOT there! Thunder, lightning, the battle prophesied at the end. What you carry within you, is given to you - who you are.
  • Ruth Paddon preached and it was filmed. You can see this talk entitled ‘Lifting the Veil’ (SOON) in our Videos Section.

Saturday 10th August

  • Shared Psalm 124 emphasis on God being on King David’s side, which meant they were saved from being prey to an enemy; declare ‘our help is in the name of the Lord’.
  • We prayed the Lords prayer. Worship songs included ‘All for Jesus’, ‘How deep the fathers love’, ‘It's your blood’,’ ‘There’s power in the name of Jesus’, ‘Hallelujah’, ‘The Sower’, ‘Glorify Thy name’. Worship Leader asked, during worship ‘Do you want Jesus? Felt during worship, that we are not to judge the worship itself, it may have an odd appearance of “not being polished”, but there is more to it then what our flesh sees; it must be real, sincere worship of Jesus - die to what we want and live for Christ.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:13–21, that we are to regard no one from a human, natural value, flesh, we are new creations! - first find harmony within ourselves with The Lord, then we can have harmony with each other and reconciliation under the favour of God. We are Christ’s appeal to the world, through us, others may come to know Christ, first we must lay hold of divine favour. Also don’t accept and agree with bad, negative words, thoughts others may tell you - as you sin, when you enter into agreement with them - it’s like agreeing with the demonic forces of this world. Smash the old lies and recordings in your head. Know that His grace is sufficient; grace means unmerited favour, and so lay hold of grace. In Luke 6:12–13 Jesus chose twelve, from all His disciples and named them His apostles. Asked how many were offended, not to be picked? But we must not judge ourselves by what the world thinks, just enjoy the favour of God.
  • Read from Genesis 7 Noah had God’s favour. Be what God has made you to be... do not let anyone bewitch you, be what God wants you to be. In verse 11 the “fountains broke”... God’s judgment is coming!
  • One saw a waterfall during worship and asked what is uniquely your “thing” for our ministry or for this area? Resist opinions and judgements put on you by others - know God’s specification for yourself and this area. Also Job 40:8, Gods judgment is goodness and kindness - be careful of anyone laying anything on you that you are not meant to carry. We are here to bring and carry worship to God. There is a “waterfall” coming, we need it; it is to do with Gods judgment. Saw a picture of “the hills around the city of bath break and water pour into the city”
  • Another elaborated on the Noah’s Ark example in that, like the ark, we might look different or “out of place”, but God has designed us to be fit for purpose when the environment shifts... like the Ark... there are mockers of what God is building (a massive animal carrier on dry land?) but when the arena we were designed for appears... God’s construction suddenly makes sense. Our calling needs to be guarded well, even if it doesn’t fit in here, stay humble, He is building you, like Noah built the ark and the ark is a picture of the Lord, the righteous run into Him and they are saved. If we are frustrated now remember it takes time to be finished by the maker.
  • Another spoke on when the ark doors were closed, many couldn’t get in and be saved, even though we might have let them, God’s judgment was that they had ignored and mocked Him and His grace lifted, this tells us not to take God for granted and that there is a ‘sowing and reaping’ principle for our words, thoughts and actions and so be careful not to agree with doubt, unbelief and the voice of darkness but, instead, accept the word of the Lord and God’s specification.
  • We gave prophetic word for a visitor.
  • As requested by The Lord, one carried out a prophetic action, of foot washing, for a couple of people.

Saturday 3rd August

We started considering Psalm 91 and trusting in The Lord to deliver us from an enemy - because He has set his love upon us, Gods protection. We were being grateful for that, being his beloved in the presence of his enemies. Explained an enemy is anything that pulls us away from hope in God.
We all have a measure of faith. Keep your peace and place of calm at all times especially in your emotions before making choices, decisions and go into the holy of holies inside you.

Sang, “He is our safe place, our haven, our harbour” and spoke about a safe house, attic, love furniture inside us that God was knocking on the front door of, to restore and refurnish us, helping us one issue at a time; If we let Him into those issues/areas that need a "changing rooms" restoration. The "stuff" taking up space, needs to be exchanged for Jesus Himself. Emphasis in whole meeting of being found IN Christ.

Rusty Hinges and Locks on the doors of these issues, so we prayed for the oil of gladness and joy with that because Gods intent, and aim is to build comfort edify and if we come into agreement with that we’ll surely be in Christ and Him in us.

Everyone has an anointing. Spoke about foolish virgins in the church when something terrible happens have ran out of oil while the others with oil are calm, prepared. These ones dig into the oil of their own relationship with Him.

Heard a testimony from work, during shift in hospital was looking after a male patient who was notoriously difficult but not only managed to get him to take it and talk with him most of the night, but at 4am he gave his life to the Lord.

Short teaching from 1 Samuel Chapter 3 in the Bible, then sang about 'asking to hear the Lord speak into the deepest parts of our hearts - and to show any sin and selfishness being rooted out, to be prepared to hear Him more.

Heard from Hebrews Chapter 12: verse 1, about being surrounded by a cloud of witnesses, to lay aside everything, which ensnares including what we say, our words that so easily ensnare, division in our hearts, minds and continued to verse 2, look to Jesus the author, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame.
"Lets get real about Heaven then he saw God releasing something, anointing for us all to despise what we’re going thru to enable us to be tougher to get thru, to be single minded and of one heart, then he prayed for us what God wanted to give us, views of Heaven and anointing to be able to endure and suffer more."

Prayed for us all, to have the oil and joy of gladness with that over our thinking, because that needs to be renewed. So prayed that The Lord would release oil on the rusty hinges of our thinking.

One saw a vision of themselves on the temple mount with millions in Israel. He spoke about a future hope that’s opening up for other people here. There being rewards, legacy, consequences to leave behind that brings about hope. 2 Corinthians Chapter 10: verse 4 - for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal and bring every thought captive; we’re called to love. "Love is not a feeling but a commitment, it means doing what you don’t want to do taking responsibility for loving those unlovable ones, don’t let your past stop you developing a future."

Another spoke of the fact in Christ, that we are more than conquerors, sitting in Heavenly places.

It all comes down to us needing a deeper relationship with Jesus... to know Him (and Him crucified) Everything points back to Him, prayed for a deeper love and understanding.
