Saturday 21st September
- Everyone shared and declared Psalms. Songs included; 'all for Jesus', 'The Sower', 'Be thou my vision', 'let your light shine', 'I will follow'.
- A leader sang a prophetic song: “You’ve held on tightly, but let go, I know how much it’s cost you to let go. Your identity is tied up in what you’ve held in your hand, but if you let go, you’ll no longer be whom people thought you were, you’ll be whom I say you are. It will be better than before. Your ashamed and feel guilty but I’ll not make you ashamed. I am gentle, kind and compassionate. They’ve lied to you. You say this is all I have, I lost everything, give to me that final thing, that fear and shame that you hold on to so tightly and I’ll transform you and you can trust me.”
- An interpretation of this song: "I saw a picture of people standing with tightly clenched fists, holding on to something in their hands, shiny and very beautiful, its shame, guilt and fears and God wants to make a transaction today for what your holding on to, for this he will give you back Himself. Your identity and what you were known for will change but you will not be ashamed. God is looking for sacrifice; no one else can see it, give him your deepest fears. Perfect love casts out all fear."
- A leader added "God is telling this is to us and those in this area who are feeling that way, the devil tells Christians they’re not good enough even after confession of sin." She then led a declaration: “I will not be ripped off anymore. I am in blood covenant with Jesus its no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me: Resurrection.”
- Anointing on worship for marching, violin and drum speaking, anointing on those joining pushing through after what they’ve been thru in life.
- A member gave testimony. Talked about an "answered prayer", where she’s prayed for her son. However, he is starting to stir, God is at work in people’s lives.
- Another shared about a recent trip and talked about fig tree owned by her parents. A year ago there was lots of little figs appearing. Her mum doubted they'd grow, but the member spoke in faith that they'll be loads of fruit. This year, they collected 50lbs of figs 9and counting) Also, after praying for her family, her sister and brother got job interviews and her brother in law has a job. Prayed for every member's family. God’s on the move.
- Worship leader prayed for God's blessing on the other church groups in the area!!!
- Ruth talked about the difference between "persona" and "personality" from Philippians 3:13. Paul was in prison, he suffered but rejoiced. Suffering for Jesus and loving each other. Read Phil 3:9-10 not about your current personality; our live needs to become who God says you are. Our soul (mind, will and emotions) tend to battle with our spirit. One truth Phil 3:13 - we may get old but our spirit are going from glory to glory - so be mature, hold true to what we have already attained.
- Spoke on avoiding the trap of "judgment" Read from Phil 4:4-8. The Lord is serious about our tongue.
