- Psalm 89, was read out at the start.
- The emphasis was on our words, how serious are we when we speak? - if we’re asking Him to ‘send fire’, reminded of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fire, the Lord was with them IN the fire. The fire burnt off bondages. But we don’t want to be over familiar with The King when he speaks, but rather truly appreciating it, when he speaks to us.
- Matthew 3:11 talks about a baptism with fire and verse 12 He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Be baptized not burnt up.
- God tests the work/building. What is Of Him stands, what is not is toast.
- In worship someone waving the purple flay to declare God’s majesty and the silver flag to represent fire and being purified. What is exposed in the fire is God’s work to bring that up and show us for ourselves any disobedience, not circumcised, any disobeying ask he’ll show you.
- Joshua 2:10-21. Rahab hides the spies, hide under the blood protection, and ‘scarlet cord in the window’ for all of us. Chapter 4 ‘the memorial stones’ in the meeting Ruth used blue scarves to represent the Jordan and picked 12 stones. Ruth asked all five fold ministers to put their stones in the river like Joshua. It was a powerful demonstration to recognise a calling and move in faith; as well as God’s authority in our lives.
- Colossians 2:10. Be ready for next stage to come into.
