- Ruth Paddon opened with prayer and reading from Psalm 84
- Worship leader asked the musicians to play prophetically. The worship leader began to sing prophetically “Can you hear His voice calling out to you? His voice is beautiful, you know it, because you belong to Him; you are His; your name is in the Book Of Life. Rejoice, He hears, He sees your tears, joy comes in the morning, you can see His face by grace. The Lord invites you to approach Him, sing & dance come up here my people.”
- Five more Prophetic songs followed from other members after the worship leader’s invitation from the Lord. One was about us standing to our feet mighty warriors to stand in the midst of a battle, though we don’t see the darkness we can focus on the light, Jesus.
- “You are mighty warriors in the midst of battle, stand you have angels with you, your taking ground don’t let the enemy or anyone take your joy.”
- Another was about offering our praises and thanks, coming to Him just as you are, He sees thru the heart and delights hearing in our praises and thanks.
- The worship leader sang as he saw a rusty old tap that had been tightly closed and the Holy Spirit was now turning it and flowing again thru that area despite the rust. “To you I say rise, rusty tap, your in for a surprise, as the handle turns and repents, now its function makes sense, was never meant to hold back indefinitely. Oil of joy of the Lord it is pouring out, shake off the rust allow His Holy Spirit to flow again fill the City of Bath.
- Another song was “we’ve read the book, we’ve seen the film, we’ve got the t-shirt, so why do we feel like this? We’ve even watched the DVD and read so many books, so why do we feel this way? I’m your father and I’m searching I’m walking past the room that has been long shut room in your heart long been a prison the enemy delights in locking you into that room but I want to come in right now the very pain you ran from only now I come the enemy scared you and made you run only now are you calm enough and desperate to address the situation and fallen in a heap on the ground say you’ve tried everything, so why do we still feel this way? What no eye has seen no ear heard or heart conceived they are the very things I have planned fro you so over the years people tried the lock found it rusty, shut, too hard, now I am here, I’m here anointed knocking let me come in I will fulfill your hearts desires above and beyond. Lord we need you, but its not about what you can do, God walks thru the wall, He just needs your permission, He’s so pleased with what you’ve done I want you to return to me fall in love with me again, I want your failings, your inability and contrite spirit.”
- A Leader read from 2 Kings 4:38-44 how the prophet Elisha purified a pot of stew during a time of famine, when they had nothing else to eat except herbs and wild vines that were unknown to them, they thought negatively that it would bring death and so wouldn’t eat it, but the prophet put some flour in it and told them there was nothing harmful in the pot and no one was harmed. When we think there is nothing good in us or to come out of us, we can bring death with our negativity, but if we believe God will sort it and purify us, we can rise up and see a vision for the future and see God’s good plans. Elisha also feed one hundred men from only one man’s first fruits; again the prophet told them that it would be enough with some left over. Both stories it was total obedience to God for the exact key for the situation it required obedience and faith. We need to give God the first fruits of everything in our lives and he can reproduce it.
- One demonstrated an action like ‘walking a tight rope’ - a fine line. He said “set your eyes on Christ and had the word ‘investment’, your words, gifts, time with someone else and for one another are an investment. Listen to Him and invest your gifts into someone. Meeting ended with praying for one another, investing prayer.”
